Traditional Media Platforms

This is an example of a sports broadcast of the NBA on Wednesday, and as you can seit is sponsored by State Farm.

I named my son after the GOAT, Michael Jordan. This is him reading about Michael and his career in ESPN magazine. (Printed sports content goes back to newspapers)
Since I was ten years old I have been a Cowboys fan, and believe it or not this was my first official on-field hat.

Whos Generating Revenue

This is printed ad, out of a magazine, for an UFC pay-per-view fight, that will air on the WOW network, along with other cable providers. The UFC is the party with the content and WOW cable is the cable provider. There are several revenue generating factors for both side in this instance.

The UFC I feel is the "bread winner" in this printed material, even though WOW will make a great deal of revenue itself from its subscribers and the pay-per-view purchases. The UFC will get paid from WOW for the broadcasting of the content. The UFC will also get a percentage of the pay-per-view sales. Also if you have seen a UFC fight, they have an abundance of sponsers whose logos, ads, and signage will be displayed inside of the famous "octagon". For the potential revenue of course, fans who enjoyed their pay-per-view experience will order fights in the future.
